The Story
Kani weaving is patience made visible—each line built by hand, each motif earned. This piece moves between tailored and poetic: a structured check softened by intricate paisley work.
How to wear
Flip for mood—light side forward by day, midnight tones forward at night.
Pure pashmina is a natural fiber. Gentle care keeps it beautiful for years.
Air it out after wear, then fold and rest.
Avoid rough surfaces and sharp jewelry that can catch fine fibers.
Keep folded in a breathable bag or drawer; add cedar nearby for long storage.
Light pilling is natural with fine fibers. Gently lift it with a cashmere comb.
We use 100% pure pashmina—an ultra-fine cashmere fiber from the goat’s downy undercoat (never synthetics, never “pashmina blends”).
What accompanies your shawl:
- Woven and hand-finished in Azad Kashmir
- Fully fiber-disclosed (we follow proper fiber labeling practice and we tell you exactly what we mean by “pashmina”).
- Edition-tracked with a provenance card including weave time, finish details, and run size (small run or one-of-one)
