Luxury should not require guesswork.
We state what we make, where it’s made, and what it’s made from—clearly.
Silsilah Studio is rooted in Azad Kashmir. Our shawls are made in limited runs, finished by hand, and presented with an honest standard of disclosure.
What we disclose on every product page
Fiber: exact material composition
Made in: Azad Kashmir
Edition: Small Run or One-of-One
Time to make: 3 / 6 / 9 / 18 / 24 months (by house line)
Finish: hand-finished details and construction notes
Real fibers only
We work in pashmina, cashmere, and noble wools.
We do not use synthetics. We do not hide blends behind vague language.
Karigars at the center
We build at a human pace. That protects craft—and it protects people.
Our intent is simple:
- fair, respectful work
- safe conditions
- timelines that reflect real making, not rush production
Limited runs are not a tactic here
Small output is a craft reality.
When a piece is gone, it may not return in the same form.
That is how an heirloom house stays honest.
A note on handmade variation
Natural fiber and hand-finishing can produce subtle variation in tone, texture, or finish. We consider this a signature of authenticity—not a flaw.
Our pledge
We protect three things: the fiber, the hands, and the home it comes from.
This is what “Woven for a longer life” means in practice.
