Materials & Care
Our shawls are made to be worn often. The goal is not preservation in a closet—it’s a longer life in the real world.
This page explains what we use, what we don’t, and the care that keeps a fine shawl at its best.
Our fibers
Pure Pashmina
Soft, breathable warmth with a naturally elegant drape. Pashmina is prized for comfort and refinement—it feels light, yet performs like a true winter layer.
Cashmere
Clean warmth with a smooth hand-feel. Cashmere is quietly luxurious—easy to wear, easy to love.
Noble Wools
Chosen for structure, resilience, and warmth. These are heritage fibers that hold shape and wear beautifully over time.
What you will not find here: synthetics, cheap blends, or vague labeling.
What “hand-finished” means
Hand-finishing is where a shawl becomes a piece. It shows in the edge, the fall, and the final feel. It’s also why two pieces may carry slight natural variation—proof of real work, not a defect.
Care ritual (simple, house-approved)
After wear
Let your shawl air out for a short time before storing.
Storage
Store folded, in a breathable place, away from direct sunlight.
Avoid hanging long-term (it can pull the shape).
Refreshing
Use light steam to release wrinkles.
Never press hard heat directly onto the fiber.
Cleaning
Dry clean only when truly needed.
Frequent cleaning isn’t required. A gentle refresh and careful storage go a long way.
Wearing guidance
Remove jewelry that may catch delicate fibers.
If you carry a bag on one shoulder daily, rotate shoulders to avoid repeated friction in one area.
A note on natural variation
Our fibers are natural. Colors can shift subtly under different light. You may see gentle variation in tone or finish across pieces. In a house like ours, this is part of the beauty.
