The House
Silsilah is a chain.
Ours runs from mountain fiber to karigar hands, from loom to finish—then to your shoulders, and onward.
Silsilah Studio is a modern house of heirloom shawls made in Azad Kashmir (Pakistan). We work in pure pashmina, cashmere, and noble wools, and we produce in small runs at a human pace. The goal is simple: pieces that feel quietly exceptional—and age beautifully.
What we make
Heirloom shawls designed for daily life.
Not costume. Not trend. Not disposable.
You’ll feel it in the drape. In the softness that improves with wear. In the weightless warmth that doesn’t shout.
The Silsilah Journey
We build every piece through five stages. It’s the same standard, every time.
1) Mountain & Fiber
We begin with real fiber—pashmina, cashmere, or noble wool. No synthetics. No shortcuts.
2) Spin & Color
Color is chosen to endure. Quiet shades. Classic contrasts. A palette that belongs in a wardrobe for years.
3) Loom & Hand
Woven in Azad Kashmir (Pakistan). Craft cannot be rushed. We respect the time it takes.
4) Finish & Wrap
Edges are refined by hand. Each piece is checked for balance, feel, and finish before it leaves the house.
5) Life & Legacy
Wear often. Care simply. Keep it close. Pass it forward.
